Exponential - e Awarded Place on Network Services Framework Agreement

The Crown Commercial Service has awarded British cloud and networking provider, Exponential-e, with a place on the Network Services framework agreement (RM1045). Using its 100 gig-ethernet network that extends across the whole of the UK, Exponential-e is now qualified to deliver connectivity services including data access, telephony, inbound telephony and audio conferencing to public sector organisations.

The new Network Services framework (RM1045) replaces Public Sector Network (PSN) services and PSN connectivity frameworks and provides the public sector with an approved route to procure connectivity and associated network solutions. It has been structured to enable suppliers to build additional services and create bundled offerings that encourage greater market competition, reduce the cost of telecommunications and enable new, creative ways of delivering public amenities.

“With over 12 years experience providing cost-effective and flexible cloud solutions to numerous government organisations, this latest framework is testament to our deep roots in this sector,” reflected Lee Wade, CEO at Exponential-e. “We are now on three major public sector frameworks – including Network Services, G-Cloud, and Technology Services as well as holding five ISO certifications and Cyber Essential accreditation. This latest recognition is a great coup for us as we continue to grow our footprint and look to compete for national public sector contracts.”

In line with its aims to maintain double-digit growth, the public sector will play a prominent role in Exponential-e’s plans for FY16. This framework position reflects how the company plans to consolidate its presence and gain momentum in key sectors. In addition to securing supplier status under Network Services, Exponential-e will gain PSN accreditation within the next six months.
