FCS Expands in 2009

FCS General Manager, Michael Eagle, has announced that 21 new member companies have joined the FCS during 2009 so far.

Eagle said, “The continuing need for communications services means that the sector has felt less impact from the current recession than others. Current levels of activity by Government via the Digital Britain report, and major reviews by Ofcom, means that the need for companies to engage with the development of regulation is more important than ever.”

“The Federation is the leading trade body for the expanding competitive communications sector in the UK covering a wide range of business delivering fixed, IP, Mobile, wireless and radio products and services. The range of companies who joined FCS so far this year reflects the broad scope of interests covered by FCS.”

“We are particularly pleased to welcome the following new companies who joined the Federation in 2009.”
