Fibre1 Appoints Clark To Drive Strategic Growth

Since completing a successful communications company acquisition, Stewart Macdonald (MD) of Fibre1 had a vision for the company to become a leader in the communications and Fibre connectivity market within Scotland and across the UK.

To take Fibre 1 to the next level Jim Clark, a very well respected and successful Aberdeen Entrepreneur has now been appointed Chairman and shareholder at Fibre 1.

Jim Clark founder of Oil and Gas waste management company MSIS, has been appointed as Chairman to the Board of Directors of Fibre1 which is headquartered in Moray. Jim is a serial entrepreneur, and has held a number of important Board positions during his career. Over the last number of years Jim has been chairman of utility services company, Turriff Group, IT Services company Pragma and waste management firm Wastepak. Jim was also a key board Director of listed waste management services company, Caird Group PLC and landfill site operators, Caird Evered PLC.

His appointment to the board comes after the launch of Fibre1‘s own dedicated Fibre network providing cost effective connectivity solutions across the UK. Fibre 1 has secured key partnerships with Pangea, Talk Talk business, City Fibre, and Metronet, resulting in key supply chain companies delivering the best in class portfolio of Fibre connectivity products. Fibre 1 also prides itself on its Moray origin’s and hopes to grow a great team in Moray whilst taking highly skilled jobs to the area.
