IT Management company, Adept4, together with its sister company, Birmingham based Adept4telecoms, which specialises in voice communications, is holding its first video conferencing event in Birmingham this June.

The free event will take place on Tuesday 7th June at Birmingham Science Park in Aston. This was chosen as the location because it is a hub for both IT savvy entrepreneurs and large established companies – the main target audiences.

It is a key event within the IT industry in the UK, dedicated to professionals from large corporate organisations to SME’s and aims to become an annual meeting point for industry leading experts, specialists, partnerships and organisations.

The event will provide attendees with the latest knowledge in video conferencing, including recent innovations and technologies, with sessions from guest speakers and live demonstrations such as the Cisco Networking on Wheels van which is equipped with the latest Cisco networking technologies.

Attendees can attend either the morning session and lunch with networking or choose to go to the lunch first and then attend the afternoon session. They will discover how they can significantly reduce costs, travelling time and their carbon footprint whilst at the same time having the ability to connect to several locations at once.

Peter Birkett, CEO at Adept4 and Adept4telecoms, commented: “We are inviting businesses from across Birmingham and the wider surrounding area to join us at this free event we are holding. We want to let them see video conferencing and unified communications first hand through live demonstrations so they can gain a clear understanding of how these technologies can benefit their business.”
