Experts speaking at the seminars include:
Sir Christopher Clarke OBE - adviser to the UK e-Government programme with extensive experience in senior local government roles. He will be speaking about how the UK’s public sector can impact the green agenda.
Nick Bond from network application management specialist Zeus Technology will explain how effective application delivery can help reduce energy usage.
Pierre Ketteridge from network infrastructure developers IP Performance will outline how organisations can plan and optimise their data centres to achieve energy reductions.
A spokesperson from the government backed Carbon Trust will show what ‘green’ means for business and outline the practical and financial assistance that the trust provides. Freedom will also demonstrate how employee home working, developments such as ‘life size’ high definition video conferencing and mobile devices can increase productivity and reduce unnecessary travel.
The events will be held at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium on Tuesday 10th June and Old Trafford stadium, Manchester on Thursday 12th June. The seminars are open to individuals responsible for procuring or managing IT and communications within their organisations.
