Funkwerk Enterprise Communications (FEC) has announced two new access points for professional WLANs and hot-spots. The Funkwerk W1002 with one wireless module and Funkwerk W2002 with two wireless modules feature two antennas per module making them ideal the company says for demanding applications such as covering complex building structures.
Both products support all current transmission and security standards for high-performance bridging between buildings, operating hot spots or interference-free transmission of video and audio signals in time-critical applications. They also facilitate Voice over IP (VoIP) and video conferencing.
