Genband has won a Silver Stevie award in recognition of its cloud-based Kandy communications Platform as a Service (cPaaS).

“Innovation is in our DNA and with digital disruption upending every industry, we built Kandy to enable companies of all types and sizes to enhance and improve their business outcomes,” said David Walsh, Genband Chairman and CEO.” We would like to thank the judges and congratulate the team, which has worked tirelessly to make our vision of embedded real-time communications everywhere come to life.”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated on 12 juries. Judges’ comments on GENBAND’s Kandy entry included “Amazing how GENBAND is delivering great value through innovative solutions,” “GENBAND products are very impressive. Very useful for every enterprise,” and “In a crowded space, Kandy is a disruptive PaaS providing innovation for context-based communications.”

With the level of achievement documented in the nominations from 60 nations, the Stevie Awards are proud to honor organizations that demonstrate a high level of achievement in a variety of industries” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We look forward to sharing many of these stories with people around the world over the coming months, through the Stevie Awards blog and social media channels, with the hope to inspire others to high achievement.”
