Genesis on Track for Success with New Product Launch

Mobile data specialist Genesis Communications is continuing its ambitious growth strategy with the launch of a new range of asset management services.

The company, which specialises in mobile voice and data solutions for SMEs, is launching a new suite of vehicle and personnel tracking products under the banner xTrack.

Aimed at companies with fleets of vehicles or field-based staff, the new services allow real time tracking through a combination of GPS and CTT technology.

Products in the range include programmes to track driver behaviour, monitor the temperature of refrigerated cargo, track the location of trailers and allow real time push information for mobile workers on both BlackBerrys and PDAs.

Mark Seemann, product marketing director of Genesis, explains the move into tracking: “Our aim as a business is to offer a fully converged communications package to our customers. xTrack will allow us to offer a complete communications package to customers in both the logistics and field sales industries at a very competitive rate.

Genesis is keen to stress the opportunities for resellers offered by its ever growing product range. Seemann adds: “Resellers who only provide simple business mobile contracts are getting left behind. Being able to offer customers a package that includes fixed line, mobile, broadband, Hosted Managed Server Solutions, Hosted Email, Hosted Intranet, BlackBerry Enterprise and tracking is an excellent way for them to differentiate themselves from the competition in an increasingly difficult marketplace.
