Engineered Broadband - Single Priority is a product which allows the prioritisation of one application over all other traffic on individual IPStream broadband lines ordered via Griffin’s Managed Online Provisioning System, MOPS.
The company reports that results from alpha trials show that EB-SP improves the quality of VOIP calls bi-directionally even when a broadband line is being used only for voice. This is because the application is prioritised not just on the individual broadband line but also over the Griffin network and the interconnect to the VoIP vendor. However, EB-SP is most effective where a customer wants to run VoIP but is not inclined to buy a second broadband line for email and web traffic.

EB-SP is the first in our Engineered Broadband family and we have taken the bold step of offering it free until the end of October 2007 to give people the opportunity to experiment with the product risk-free.”
