Griffin offers their Partners access to retail transactions ‘in the cloud’

ISP Griffin Internet is helping Resellers to win retail network bids in partnership with TNS. A large percentage of the UK’s credit and debit card transactions transit TNS’ secure PCI certified backbone network and TNS is one of the largest independent transaction management companies in the world.

Griffin is a long time supplier to TNS (Transaction Network Services) and their networks are connected at a high capacity over multiple resilient high speed links. The two companies have now worked together to open up these high speed links to Griffin partners.

Andrew Dickinson, Sales and Marketing Director, Griffin Internet commented. “Adding TNS into the Griffin ‘cloud’ means our partners can now offer retailers a one-stop solution by including payment transactions in their VPN offerings. This removes an obstacle to them winning the business and they further benefit by getting paid by TNS for introducing the business to them.”

Griffin’s agile MPLS IPVPN has been a particular hit in the retail sector and their white label pre-sales and bid support teams have had great success in winning a number of retail contracts with their partners.

Kris De Moor, Int. IT Director at Brantano, the specialist shoe retailer, comments, "We selected TNS due to their professionalism, technical knowledge and flexibility. The TNS team did a fantastic job in an extremely tight timescale and our store managers have commented positively on the solution. Card transactions now take on average 1.2 seconds to authorise, which is great for both customer and staff satisfaction and TNS' 24/7 network monitoring service gives us total peace of mind."
