Horsebridge to Distribute Cambium Networks

Cambium Networks has announced that Horsebridge Network Systems, a U.K.-based international network and security infrastructure supplier, is the authorised ePMP distributor in the U.K. and Ireland.

Under the Broadband Delivery U.K. (BDUK) programme, £530 million has been invested by the British government to provide the U.K. with “the best broadband network in Europe by 2015. The programme aims to extend high-quality, high-speed connectivity to parts of the country that lack it. The distribution of ePMP – Cambium Networks’ revolutionary wireless access platfor m for connecting underserved global communities – through Horsebridge is a timely solution to helping BDUK reach its connectivity goals.

“With our focus on serving the U.K. rural broadband market and targeting urban “not spots,” Horsebridge is well positioned to make a significant impact with ePMP in our portfolio. The Horsebridge team is experienced in wireless backhaul and access technologies, and know that ePMP’s quality of service and security are rare at its price point,” said Geoff Smith, managing director, Horsebridge. “ePMP’s scalability, quality and reliability are attractive to our rural and urban customers – frankly, its capabilities make it a good fit for a wide range of our customer base, regardless of environment.”
