Increased Convergence Interest say Panasonic

Mark Ivens, Marketing Manager, Panasonic Business Telephone Systems told Comms Business Magazine that their dealers have seen a marked increase in the interest and sales of convergence applications.

“Panasonic and their dealers have promoted IP solutions with more competitively priced IP handsets and IP extension cards. In particular, the new KX-NT265 brings a low-cost alternative for customers requiring IP handsets at remote locations or offices. At the same time, we have seen sales of CTI applications increase as well as customers ordering more and more clients for each installation.

Similarly, other applications like Panasonic Voice Recording and Panasonic Call Management are becoming more popular as companies seek to monitor and record the traffic and activity taking place through their system. This is to both improve efficiency and protect the company’s interests.

With the increasing demand for CTI in mind, Panasonic are just about to launch their Phone Assistant CTI Solution. The Phone Assistant (PA) Express is available to KX-TDA users (Free of Charge) and the upgrade to PA Pro will be launched in November.”
