Ingram Micro Wins Small Business Distributor of the Year Award

Ingram Micro (UK) has won Cisco’s EMEAR FY’15 Small Business Distributor of the Year Award.

At the ceremony held in Vienna last week, Ingram Micro UK triumphed over around 70 distributors in EMEAR to scoop the title for the second time based on a continuous drive in maintaining Cisco’s presence in the small business space.

Ingram Micro’s sustained focus in driving Cisco’s small business messaging has combined innovative marketing campaigns supporting key product launches, select boot camps enabling current partners to expand their Cisco expertise and onboarding 50 new resellers.

Dan Maynard, head of category for Datacentre, Infrastructure & Networking, Ingram Micro UK expanded on the reasons his Cisco team clinched the honour: “The energy we have continuously focused has enabled us to become the largest distributor in Cisco’s UK small business space and be first to market with specific partner messaging on competitive products. We’ve leveraged our reseller enablement programme, Fly Higher which ensures the tactical delivery of opportunities to Cisco partners and introduced key customers to our in-house marketing resource, Agency Ingram Micro, which supports them in creating end user campaigns to drive growth amongst their small business customers.

“The addition of a dedicated Cisco sales specialist to drive small business growth has also contributed to an extremely successful year. Combined with gaining our ATD accreditation and the other achievements we have accomplished in FY’15 I feel this award serves as well-deserved praise which I am happy to share with my team.”
