Ingram Micro is pleased to announce Dave Coplin, recently voted the most influential man at Microsoft UK, as the keynote speaker at its forthcoming SMB Alliance Forum event.

Coplin, chief envisioning officer at Microsoft, will deliver a thought leadership piece on the impact of changing trends as users adopt and adapt to new ways of using technology to live, work and do business.

The event is taking place on Thursday 2nd October in the newly opened arena at StadiumMK, Milton Keynes and will be the largest event in Ingram Micro UK’s history and will feature over 40 technology brands showcased in a range of interactive zones.

Ingram Micro will also use the event to launch its Learning Live zone, a fully interactive ‘classroom of the future’ highlighting the latest vendor solutions for schools and universities. TV and radio presenter Spencer Kelly will host the area and chair discussions on the education marketplace, its most exciting innovations and the opportunities it presents.

Managing director & vice president of Ingram Micro UK&I, Brent McCarty, can’t wait to bring his organisation’s vision to the SMB channel in one game-changing industry event: “We’re giving our SMB customers the biggest event in our history. As well as presentations on new technologies from the top vendors, delegates will also hear about the additional support and expertise available to them when partnering with us. My team will deliver master classes on how to increase revenue opportunities in new growth markets, understand the needs of key target verticals, and speed the adoption amongst their end users of cloud and ProAV technology.

“We’ll also be signing resellers up for our new advertising and marketing agency that launches in September. Agency Ingram Micro (AIM) will provide branding, telemarketing, PR, social media, web advertising solutions and event management to help resellers maximize opportunities by leveraging the marketing expertise within Ingram Micro as a value added service.

“The SMB Alliance Forum has received great support from our vendor partners and in return we will deliver great ROI back to them by enabling our SMB customers to better understand, pitch and close solution sale opportunities.

“We’ve had a great response so far and there’s still a month to go to sign up at our dedicated microsite, http://www.smballiance.co.uk/.”
