Intermedia and Cloud Telephones Promote Reseller Opportunities

Intermedia and Cloud Telephones have formed an alliance to help promote opportunities around business cloud services, VoIP and connectivity to resellers.

Cloud Telephones will market Intermedia’s Hosted Exchange, business applications, archiving and backup, collaboration and file management services to its established nationwide network of SMB resellers. Intermedia will be promoting the broad range of VoIP and connectivity services offered by Cloud Telephones to its growing community of cloud services partners.

“According to a recent IDC report spending on public cloud services will reach $56.6 billion worldwide this year and $127 billion by 2018, and will generate more than half of software, server and storage spending growth,” says John Carter, Managing Director of Cloud Telephones. “This is a trend no reseller can afford to ignore.”

“For resellers who are already taking VoIP to market, offering cloud services such as Hosted Exchange and Office 365 is the next logical step. The two companies will be contacting their respective partner bases to elicit enquiries for each other’s services. They will also be working on targeted end-user marketing and lead generation and programmes to uncover new opportunities for resellers.
