ipcortex sales soar by over 200%

Amidst gloomy reports of an industry wide decline in PBX sales volumes, Comms Business Awards Finalist ipcortex has revealed that they have undergone dramatic unit year on year volume growth of their VoIPCortex IP PBX. Between Q1 2008 and Q1 2009, the number of units shipped increased by over 200%, with unit sales volumes registering a quarter on quarter increase of 100% between Q4 2008 and Q1 2009 alone - and based on interim Q2 2009 results, this growth is expected to continue.

These results are in stark contrast to recent reports from a number of vendors and in particular, industry analysts MZA consulting who just two weeks ago reported a 38% decrease in PBX sales across the market – with a prediction of the worst annual performance since 1998.

ipcortex Director Rob Pickering commented, “These results clearly illustrate the success that resellers are having with the VoIPCortex product range – proving that despite the climate, sales with healthy margin can still be made. However, resellers can’t simply rely on traditional business models and tired technology. Smart resellers are looking for new ways to differentiate themselves and add extra value, and they’re using our open, scalable, accessible and feature laden converged solutions to do it.”

Reseller Luke Newland of New Land Solutions echoed this by saying, “The VoIPCortex product range allows us to find new solutions to old problems – and it’s certainly the best value for money solution that we install. From a client perspective, they love the fact that the system is flexible enough to change along with business requirements – and for me, the interface and auto provisioning platform makes for a quick and hassle free install!”
