Jade Communications partners with Psion Teklogix

Jade Communications, a UK provider of mobile voice and data communications technologies for business, has signed a partnership agreement with Psion Teklogix, the mobile computing and wireless data collection specialist.

Jade will now offer Psion Teklogix’ comprehensive range of mobile computing technology as part of its solutions and will focus in particular on equipping field service operations with its Mobility as a Service application running on fully rugged PDA devices like the Psion Teklogix IP65-rated Ikôn.

Jade’s Mobility as a Service package allows field service companies to outsource their mobile data communications, removing the headache of deploying and managing a mobile computer estate. The Mobility as a Service package includes mobile devices, specially-designed field service software, accessories and service desk support. Typical functionality available with the package includes the ability to view real-time job updates from your field engineers, full visibility of spare part stock available on vans, availability of customer data to engineers as they work in the field and the ability to track engineers’ movements via GPS functionality.
