Thanks to JCDecaux Innovate and the new $5 MONOPOLY Instant Scratch to win game card from South Australian (SA) Lotteries, consumers could win $5,000 by tapping a billboard panel with their NFC mobile phone. Using both QR and Tapit technology, SA Lotteries have created an interactive competition which allows passers-by to tap or scan their compatible smart phone to enter their details to win.

"This campaign highlights the benefits of yet another commercial use of NFC to build customer interaction and engagement in a simple way i.e. entering competitions" Andrew Davis - Director at Tapit.

The SA Lotteries campaign is designed to build public awareness of the new $5 MONOPOLY Instant Scratch to win game cards, by stimulating audience engagement.

SA Lotteries General Manager – Marketing and Sales, Callum Mulvihill, said that “with the exponential growth in smart phone adoption, SA Lotteries continues to explore new and interesting ways to engage customers. We are excited to be using the new Tapit technology, with the hope that it will allow us to interact with our players in a more fun and innovative way.”
