KCOM Joins Amazon Web Services Partner Program

Cloud
Enterprise cloud and IT services company KCOM has been named as a member of the newly launched Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Partner Program, listed in the Government category. KCOM’s cooperation with AWS will provide UK public sector organisations with a complete choice of cloud computing services, including consultancy, systems delivery and integration, and service management.

“The time has come for public sector organisations to re-imagine and re-architect their IT and communications infrastructures to become more customer-centric, agile and efficient,” said Tony Cox, Director Central Government at KCOM. “KCOM helps these organisations through ‘best in class’ consultancy, architecture, delivery and management experience across applications, communications and networks. Our cooperation with AWS has massive potential, and we look forward to working together to create an environment in which digital innovation in the public sector can thrive.”

KCOM has also retained its AWS Partner Network (APN) Premier Consulting Partner status making it one of only two UK based providers with this title. KCOM customers will benefit from access to features such as Enterprise Support and Proof of Concept funding.

Qualification for the AWS Public Sector Partner Program requires demonstration of a strong overall AWS practice. KCOM first engaged with AWS in 2011, and is today an AWS Direct Connect Partner, as well as holding the AWS Big Data competency, and being one of a handful of audited AWS Managed Services Partners.
