After eight months of construction work, consumer electronics accessory distributor Kondor has confirmed that it will be opening the second building on its plot in Christchurch, Dorset on 31st January 2014.
Since April 2011, Kondor has been operating from one 60,000 square feet, state-of-the-art, fully bar-coded warehouse for highly efficient product distribution, and started work on a second building in 2013 to replicate the existing building.
Established in 1994, Kondor currently employs more than 200 staff, with another 10 to 20 new jobs created when the new building opens its doors.
“We are delighted to be able to design, create and invest in a second purpose-built facility which will provide further operating space to meet the needs of our partners and customers for the foreseeable future,” said Kondor’s Managing Director Rob Haycock.
