Kondor distribute Vodafone UK’s ‘no-commitment’ pre-pay mobile broadband modems

Vodafone’s new pre-pay mobile broadband modem has further strengthened Kondor’s already broad portfolio of pre-pay handsets and SIM cards.

Kondor is pleased to announce that from March it will include Vodafone’s TopUp & Go mobile broadband in its range of products. TopUp and Go mobile Broadband is Vodafone’s latest edition to its mobile broadband range and gives customers increased flexibility in the way they choose to use mobile broadband.

Pre-pay customers can now access the internet on their laptop using Vodafone’s fast and reliable network. Vodafone has invested significantly in its mobile broadband network to provide customers with access to theoretical download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps in major conurbations across the UK.

For just £39, customers receive the USB Modem and their first top up of 1GB data worth £15. Uniquely the TopUp has no expiry date. Topping up further 1GB data bundles is made simple by using an automated telephone service.

The principle benefit to retailers in this current economic climate is that no credit check or direct debit details are required to set the customer account up. The USB modem also has a built-in Micro SD card slot, so it doubles as a storage device for music, images and video clips.

Kondor’s new business director, Simon Hassell, said: “In 2008, the sales of notebooks and laptops took many people by surprise, with most major high street retailers and grocery retailers selling the devices. The Vodafone TopUp&Go modem now makes portable broadband easy and appealing to all end users without the need for credit checks. It has been very well received from our growing customer base and is one of many additions to our laptop & notebook accessory range.”
