Level 3 Strengthens European Content Team to Support Growth

Level 3 Communications’ European Markets Group today announced the appointment of Joe Trainor, who joins the company as Senior Director, Broadcast and Content Offer Management. Trainor joins Level 3 from Narrowstep and will primarily focus on delivering Internet Protocol (IP)-based Video solutions for Broadcasters and content owners within the European Region, reporting to Uwe Nickl, senior vice president Product Delivery, Offer Management and Marketing in Europe.

Trainor broadens and strengthens Level 3’s team by bringing specific sector expertise to address the growth in demand for IP Video in the region, and will further support Level 3’s growth strategy in the industry, Trainor most recently held the position of Vice President Sales at Narrowstep. He has worked extensively with many of the largest Broadcasters, content owners and telecommunications companies across Europe delivering some of the most innovative video solutions on-line.
