M247 Re-launch Cloud Infrastructure Services

Cloud
Acknowledging the growing requirements in the business sector for Cloud Infrastructure Services, M247 has recently re-launched their Cloud Services and now has a brand new website.

This year M247 have brought together a number of Internet companies that they own and previously operated as separate brands. Now, brought together under the M247 banner, the company in making significant in-roads in the IaaS market, particularly in the SME and Public sectors.

Using a unique on-line specifying and purchasing tool developed in-house by M247’s team of software developers, it’s now possible for M247 customers to intuitively scale and order a wide range of configurations on virtual machines. These include Memory, CPU Cores, Disk Space, IPv4 addresses, Bandwidth and Windows Licences.

M247 Technical Director, Chris Byrd said, “From our perspective, the much vaunted “Cloud” has been our bread and butter for many years. Its only recently that technologies are coming on-stream to take advantage of what is essentially one data centre connected to another data centre via a high bandwidth network which, in-turn, connects the customer, the end user of the “Cloud”. What we provide at M247 is the infrastructure to enable all of this to work. App providers, SaaS providers, back-up, storage, file sharing and virtual desktop providers, each need the real-world infrastructure and high bandwidth services that we provide and we’ve taken on board their needs with our new Cloud packages”.
