Mainline offers customised handset guides to dealers

Orange mobile phone distributor, Mainline Digital Communications, has launched two new products. On is a handset widget for dealers who want to include a detailed product information section on their own websites, and then other is handset specification sheets to keep their staff and customers informed.

As managing a database is a time consuming process, Mainline is offering its dealers the chance to have their own product database online with minimal effort. The widget can be added to any existing website and can be easily tailored to fit in with any dealers’ corporate colour scheme. It is directly linked to the handset section of Mainline’s website and any changes made are automatically updated at the same time.

As a complementary service, Mainline has also introduced handset spec sheets for its dealers - a bespoke A4 sheet containing useful information about new handsets including, key selling points and unique features, specifications, box contents and an image of the handset.

“The widget is so easy to use,” commented Dave Carter from Geko Direct. “It’s a cost effective and convenient way of viewing Mainline’s complete range of Orange handsets through our own website. It gives customers browsing the internet a chance to see the handsets we offer, and enhances the overall customer experience.

“The handset spec sheet is a very useful tool, with a large workforce such as mine, it is an effective way of keeping my staff fully informed about our latest Orange handsets. Mainline provides the spec sheet branded with my business colours on a CD, and I can print off as many as required for my staff, or include them in proposals to give customers all the information they need,” continued Carter.

Both available for a one off set up fee, payable from a dealer’s marketing fund, and a small monthly subscription for the handset widget, Mainline does all the hard work including full site maintenance, administration and updates.
