Mayflex has appointed a new Group Purchasing Manager. Selwyn Smith joined the business on the 3rd January 2017 and will have overall responsibility for Mayflex UK and the ME region stock requirements.
Andy Cooper, Chief Operations Officer commented, “I am delighted to welcome Selwyn to the Mayflex strategic management team, he brings great experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the business which we are confident will be a benefit to the existing team and vendor partners.”
Andy continued, “Selwyn will work closely with each vendor partner to ensure stock levels are consistent and that new products are brought to our customers in the shortest time frame possible.”
Andy concluded, “This appointment is one of many that have taken place in recent months within Mayflex. Our recruitment drive continues to move forward with numerous areas of the business both creating new roles and increasing the number of heads so that teams can continue to offer the levels of service our customers demand and have become accustomed to”.
