Mayflex Appoints News Sales Manager

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security solutions distributor, has confirmed yet another significant recruitment to the business with the appointment of Ian Irving in the role of Regional Sales Manager, Midlands and North, for Infrastructure Products.

Irving joins Mayflex after 15 years at Connectix, where his most recent role was that of Commercial/Sales Director.

As a result of Irving’s appointment, Mayflex will restructure its current field sales teams into two geographically focused units, enabling closer account management, improved business development focus, and a generally more customer focused approach to long term business relationships. Irving will join the business on September 2nd, and the new structure will take effect from October 1st, following an intense induction programme.

Irving will work alongside John Twidell who will be responsible for the Southern sales team and will take a more active role in developing our presence in Central London, especially as the City gets ready for the London Olympics in 2012.’
