Ipgenie, which is built and designed in the UK, is an unlicensed, Asterix-based open source IPPBX which is set to challenge legacy ISDN and analogue lines as well as and business telephony systems. A key benefit of the McWilliams switch is that it delivers impressive call quality by utilising just 15k over each of the six channels it provides via a standard 256k connection. Many other switches use between 40-60k which can cause service degradation.
All five models in the Yealink range have been certified for use with the Ipgenie product which gives users the flexibility to work from a head office, mobile or home. Interoperability enables a simple and easy way of provisioning the handsets via the web portal, which will make the implementation of the product even more efficient and time saving to the dealer and end user.

The Yealink T2x range comprises five models, from the entry level SIP-T18P to the six-line executive SIP-T28P. An impressive standard feature set includes HD voice quality, PoE and PSU, auto -provisioning and two Ethernet ports, whilst all models incorporate Titan TI chipsets.
