MDSL launches Market Data Manager 3.0

MDSL, the foremost provider of international Market Data Management (MDM) and Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions today announced the launch of the latest version of its market-leading software, Market Data Manager 3.0.

MDSL Market Data Manager (MDM) 3.0 marks the next generation of the renowned international software solution from MDSL, and brings a number of major developments and enhancements to simplify and streamline the process of managing your market data. Among a host of new features MDM 3.0 incorporates are:

• Web-enabled user interface

• Role-specific start-up screens

• Powerful “system search” tools

MDM 3.0 provides a completely new user experience which is quicker, easier and more intuitive. With MDSL’s applications server (ASP) model there is no software to install, maintain or upgrade, while the new user-friendly browser interface gives the user access from any web-enabled platform: desktop, laptop or mobile device. MDM 3.0 is compatible with all modern browsers.

The customisable landing page can be configured precisely around the different market data administration roles: inventory management, data analysis or procurement. Taking Purchase Order processing as an example, the user can see all relevant data on purchase terms, contracts, end-dates, trend analysis, business unit-specific reports, etc – all in customisable form.

MDM 3.0’s innovative new “system search” tools make navigation quick and easy — users just click on the information they need, together with any related items, while favourite searches can be readily saved to the side bar, for future reference.

Ben Mendoza, CEO of MDSL, said: “This new release brings some major improvements to our already highly successful and popular Market Data Manager solution. We have taken great care in this version to ensure we have listened carefully to our customers and incorporated the functions they have told us they will find useful.

“Business-critical information is now just a couple of clicks away. We have made the process of managing market data easy, streamlined and intuitive. We are confident that present customers will be very pleased and new customers will discover the advantages of working with MDM 3.0.”

Long-term MDM user Marius Kraenzlin, Global Head of Market Data Administration for UBS, said: “The new web version is more user-friendly, which will help all users to work with MDM 3.0. The additional flexibility, with an ‘admin’ user, individually customisable fields and several uploads in parallel will be a great help.”
