Metronet feeling Sporty!

Metronet (UK) is providing temporary superfast connectivity for this year’s World Squash Championships taking place at the National Squash Centre at Sportcity, Manchester.

The high-speed upgrade that will be in place for just one week has come through Metronet (UK)’s long standing customer the Manchester Sports and Leisure Trust. The trust was formed in 1997 and now has 18 unique sports venues on their portfolio, including the world-class facilities at Sportcity.

Kim Liall, Events Co-Ordinator at Manchester Sports and Leisure Trust said, “We are always pleased with the level of service that Metronet (UK) provide. The Squash Championships add onto a very busy sports season in Manchester and with Metronet (UK) providing the connectivity we know that things will be smooth sailing at the event.”

Sarah Martin, Account Manager at Metronet (UK) said, “Manchester has a great track record when in comes to hosting international and national sports events. There are very few providers that can deliver high speed upgrades within a few hours of the request and we are proud to deliver our service to such a prestigious event.”
