Mobile dealers set to buck recession with V Networks buyout programme

V Networks, the telecommunications service provider recently acquired by Opal, is urging mobile dealers to get on board with its groundbreaking buyout programme, V2, a unique proposition that provides much needed financial relief during a tough trading period.

Since its launch in October 2008, there has been a phenomenal demand for V2, with a large number of resellers already signed up to the 13 month long programme. It enables mobile dealers to bring in significant additional revenue to their businesses through ongoing cash bonuses and commissions, a suite of incentives, as well as a guaranteed pay-out at the end of the buy-out period.

V2 was launched following the success of V1 which ran from 2005 through to 2008. This saw the company pay out millions of pounds to top performing dealers based on the revenues brought in from their customer base during the period.

Mark Shraga, Sales Director at V Networks, said: “The market is undoubtedly tough at the moment, and will get tougher. Mobile dealers need new ways to make money, and V2 will help them do this through maximising their returns and margins.

“We’ve looked at ways to improve V1 and make it even more appealing, and we’re confident that this represents the fastest and best guaranteed buyout offering in the market. It’s not too late to get involved and it is something all mobile dealers can benefit from.”

V Networks has also worked to ensure that V2 will support mobile dealers’ fixed line strategies – an increasingly important area for dealers to diversify their portfolios and open new revenue streams. All the mobile dealer needs to do is make an appointment, and then V Networks joins the deal, using its experience to close the sale. V Networks also looks after the customer management while the dealer benefits from the ongoing commissions, leaving the dealer to focus on what they do best.

Mark continued: “V Networks’ association with Opal also strengthens the proposition; as the third largest operator in the UK, it brings with it the substantial resource, proven track record and resilience of a FTSE 250 company.”

Opal, the business to business division of The Carphone Warehouse Group acquired V Networks last year, having worked with the company as a long-term partner. The move was part of an ongoing strategic plan to strengthen Opal’s position in the channel and become the partner of choice.
