Murphx Invests in Future Success with Team Expansion

Delivering increased focus to customer management and support, while maximising growth potential, is the aim of the latest key staff appointments at murphx.

After successfully spearheading growth as Sales Manager at the leading wholesale connectivity carrier, Steve Wood is taking on the newly-created role of Corporate Development Manager. He will now manage product development including the internal and customer facing training framework for murphx’s services. He will also work on a number of major internal projects.

Taking over the Sales Manager’s role is Guy Tipton. He brings with him a wealth of telecoms experience having worked for BT for over 20 years, latterly in the Service Provider Group managing major DSL and connectivity accounts.

The sales team, too, is being further expanded with the additions of Tom Hynes as Sales Executive and James Lodge as Sales Support Executive.

Bringing a wealth of sales experience to the role, Tom will cater to the needs of murphx’s telecoms resale customers as well as generate new business. James joins the team from Virgin Media where he sold broadband and mobile. In his new position he will ensure the prompt delivery of proposals and quotations for partners joining the existing, established sales support team.

Carl Churchill, Director at murphx, comments: “We are committed to ensuring we meet all our customers’ needs and have the creativity and flexibility to develop solutions to prepare them for future demands. As such these appointments will ensure our team is best-placed to listen to and implement what our customers require as expediently and smoothly as possible.”
