nconnect Look to UK Channel

Cloud
nconnect, the specialist cloud telephony provider, has strengthened its UK channel presence through the appointment of ONE (UK) Ltd, the newly launched provider of state of the art IP solutions. The partnership will enable higher-revenue solution bundles for reseller partners, and boost cloud telephony sales opportunities throughout the UK reseller base.

“ONE (UK) was recently launched by Geoff Girdler and Scott Elder, ex directors of Capstan Communications, and is a valuable addition to our UK channel model that enhances our offering to voice-based resellers,” said Rami Houbby, UK Managing Director of nconnect. “This is about scaling up and adding value. We’re tapping into greater marketing resources and the skills of a national distributor that has strong relationships with resellers large and small, and all this will help us grow revenues in the UK market.”

nconnect and ONE (UK) also share a large interest in network infrastructure vendor LANCOM, an nconnect technology partner with whom ONE (UK) are lead UK distributor. “We interoperate with many technologies but our new integration with LANCOM’s products is proving extremely compelling to resellers across Europe,” added Houbby. “We believe we’ve got a great opportunity for LANCOM’s reseller community.”

ONE (UK) has been tasked with growing revenues and recruiting resellers to the nconnect partner programme. “This partnership is an exciting opportunity for both organisations,” explains Scott Elder, Managing Director of ONE (UK). “nconnect is a highly simple proposition that complements our portfolio and addresses the pent-up demand for reliable cloud telephony among many resellers’ customers. We believe nconnect’s outstanding reliability is a huge advantage, plus its features and overall value are without peer in the cloud telephony space.”

Following its most successful year-to-date, including a 30 percent increase in market penetration to more than 120,000 users, nconnect’s parent company NFON is targeting strong growth across seven European markets in 2014.

“nconnect has got a strong technology proposition and appear to have worked out its strategy for competing against on-premise and hosted telephony solutions,” said Matt Townend, Partner at Illume Research. “While still early days in the UK market for them, nconnect has a track-record in Germany under the NFON brand where they are a clear market leader and a large proportion of their growth is through resellers.”
