NEC Philips Swoops on Infrastructure Applications Firm

NEC Philips Unified has acquired Telamon Systems Limited - a specialist provider of resilient IT business solutions and services based in Berkshire, UK. Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.

Telamon specialises in core infrastructure, virtualisation, identity management, security, remote/mobile solutions and cross-platform systems integration backed up by high quality project management and technical support. More than 80% of its employees are in technical IT services roles as consultants, project managers and systems/software engineers.

With more than 80 customers across the UK, Telamon specialises in the provision of solutions to mid-to-large enterprises and public sector organisations.
