Neowave introduces video conferencing subscription model

MSPs
NeoWave, the specialist telecommunications distributor has today announced that it is launching a new video conferencing service, ‘NeoCloud’, which as the name suggests, will deliver subscription-based access to high quality video conferencing without the need for expensive hardware or software integration, directly from the Cloud.

NeoWave will be providing the NeoCloud service through its network of telecoms resellers.

Margaret Brewer, General Manager, NeoWave Distribution, said: “We have had a fantastic response from resellers since we added a new range of conferencing solutions to our portfolio last month, and it makes perfect sense to now make the solution available on the Cloud on a subscription basis. Customers will pay a monthly licence through their reseller and they will be able to deliver unlimited invitations to colleagues to join them in their own room to take part in the video conference. What they will experience is very natural and of the highest quality.”

NeoWave will be offering both a wholesale and retail model and expects the monthly licence to carry an RRP of under £50 for unlimited usage.

“Offering a Cloud service will enable many companies to experience high quality video conferencing with no set-up costs and no long-term commitment,” said Margaret Brewer. “For service companies such as lawyers, accountants, marketing agencies and design companies the ability to meet regularly without having to travel is both financially advantageous and will save a huge amount of time.”

“As we expected the video conferencing solution is proving attractive to the telecoms channel, and the technical expertise of our resellers means that the learning curve is very short, so they are already making sales to customers,” continued Margaret Brewer. “We strongly believe that being a software-only product and being made available on the Cloud, will enable NeoCloud to become the video conferencing solution of choice.”
