Nessco – Distributor and VAR

Since Nessco’s acquisition of Invsat in September last year the company says their growth plans have become increasingly ambitious

Managing Director Austin Davidson told Comms Business Magazine that since their inception over 26 years ago, Nessco has grown from a small local company serving the communications needs of the oil and gas community to a strong global player now in the top echelon of suppliers in the communications sector. Headquartered in Aberdeen, Nessco is a leading distributor in England but a Solution Provider in Scotland selling directly to end-users.

“The way we conduct business though two separate channels north and south of the border has many key benefits. Both operations complement each other perfectly and it is our customer base that benefits at the end of the day”. Davidson continued, “Nessco has regional offices based at various locations throughout the UK which allows us to provide UK wide geographical coverage and support. Our vast warehousing facility in Aberdeen houses large stock levels helping guarantee stock availability and next day delivery”.

“The latest acquisition of Invsat Ltd, has allowed Nessco to take its business to a new level in the communications industry by combining the services, resource, capabilities and geographical strengths of two companies.

For our reseller channel in England we now boast additional support and resource to embark on an intensive recruitment program to help further strengthen sales in VoIP. For our direct sales division we now have more scope to reduce costs through greater economies of scale thus helping to maintain our competitive pricing structure. With an aggressive growth strategy now already underway, 2006 looks set to become a definitive year for Nessco.”
