NetPay and the NCVO introduce Merchant Services

NetPay and NCVO have announced their partnership offering voluntary organisations simple, secure, affordable, payment and donation processing.

In a changing economy the need to be able to capture payments and donations quickly and simply and providing a variety of opportunities to pay and donate is extremely important. Convenience is essential and with the advent of online payments the ability to pay and donate has reached a global audience, broadening reach and opportunity. NetPay offers its customers online processing, payment terminal and merchant services. NetPay operates an open and honest approach to payment processing, delivering its merchants complete visibility and control.

Carl Churchill Managing Director at NetPay said “With £9.3bn donated to not-for-profits in 2012¹ it is imperative that these organisations have the means to collect and process payments across multiple fundraising activities. Online donations have increased by 88% in 2013²; voluntary organisations that do not currently take payments online are missing out on a huge opportunity to increase the number and value of donations with the average card donation being £26.36 as opposed to £5.59 cash³. We provide these organisations with the ability to transact online in a secure way at a cost that is not eating into the money they need to support their initiatives.”

Churchill continues “A lot of charities within the UK have had raw deal when it comes to merchant services and often suffer higher rates. This situation has been morally broken and has meant that less money is actually going to the people who need it the most. NetPay has worked closely with the NCVO to ensure that their 10,000 member organisations are getting the best value for money, enabling them to focus on what they do best.

Richard Williams, Director of Enterprise & Development at NCVO says: “NCVO represents and supports charities and as part of our role we work with partners to ensure our members get access to services that deliver good value. NetPay’s ethos of helping organisations reduce the costs of purchasing and providing quality customer service matches the needs many of our members have.”

NetPay’s award nominated online portal ‘Revolution’ provides all of the real-time transactional reporting that voluntary organisations need to see how well their campaigns, stores and donations are doing, enabling them to compare both online and offline transactions and putting them in firm control of their finances.
