New Appointments at Dacon

Dacon, the specialist distributor of contact centre solutions, has today announced a round of new appointments, with Max Meiklejohn taking over the role of marketing manager and Alastair Fraser joining as account manager.

Meiklejohn will lead the marketing team following the departure of John Bell, Business Development Manager, to BT’s Global Services division, and is tasked with growing the Dacon business and continuing to provide support for its network of resellers throughout the UK and Europe. He brings a strong track record of delivering effective marketing campaigns for the telecommunications industry to the role and has worked with Dacon for the last three years.

Fraser joins Dacon from the aviation sector where he was responsible for contact centre management and the implementation and development of a web-based contact centre system. Fraser adds specialist resource to Dacon’s non-BT Channel and will be responsible for managing key accounts throughout the UK and Europe.

Meiklejohn commented, "I am delighted to be increasing my remit at Dacon to take responsibility for all marketing activities and look forward to developing the strong brand and reputation that Dacon currently enjoys in the market. We will be implementing a strategic review of Dacon’s current positioning with a view to launching new services aimed primarily at supporting and developing existing relationships with key Dacon customers such as BT."
