New Director Appointments at Nine Telecom

Nine Telecom, the B2B fixed line telephony service providers, has announced that Julie Mills has been promoted to Sales Director. Nine say the promotion continues Mills rapid rise through the company, having joined the company just three years ago.

Mills is responsible for the Dealer Channel of the entire Nine Telecom product range; including inbound solutions, broadband, WLR and mobile.

Providing support to her Business Development Management (BDM) team; based in the North, the Midlands and the South, she facilitates the Dealer network and BDM relationships, ensuring the smooth transition of sales.

In addition, Mills is also accountable for a team, that will increase by over 60% at the end of 2009, of Customer Account Managers. This expanding area, following Julie’s appointment, will see a renewed impetuous on the up-selling of related Nine Telecom products.

Mills joined Nine Telecom as a Business Development Manager in 2006, holding the position for 18 months. She was then promoted to Sales Manager, a position she also held for 18 months.

On her new position, Julie comments “I believe that with a combination of great products, a high work ethic and a commitment to our partners and their customers we will continue to build a strong presence in the market.”

Outside of Nine Telecom, Julie is married with two teenage children. She enjoys socialising in her free time and creating a happy work life balance.

At the same time the company has also appointed Stephen Camm to Operations Director. At just 28 years old, Stephen becomes the company’s youngest Director.

Having joined the telecommunications company in 2005, as an Operations Manager, the promotion to Operations Director sees Camm responsible for an operational team that includes the company’s Line Rental Manager and Billing Manager.

Focusing on the retailer Dealer channel of the business, he will be accountable for bringing Nine Telecom’s new Mobile service to market. In addition, he will also be responsible for the increased sales targets of the existing WLR3 which the company places a large importance on during 2009.

Camm’s new Directorial role will also oversee the launch to market of WLR3 ISDN 30 and ISDN 2 by Q2.

On his Operational Director position within Nine Telecom, Camm remarks “I’m looking forward to playing a pivotal role at Nine Telecom as it strives to be at the forefront of new technologies, and leaders in new technologies out to market.“
