Redstone plc has appointed Paul Kennedy as managing director for their Converged Solutions Division. Converged Solutions employs around half of the 400 or so employees within the group.
Kennedy will be responsible for building capacity, developing strategy and driving growth. He will focus the company’s direction on its core skills – delivery of innovation, service excellence and value – as well as improving operational efficiency and increasing cross-selling opportunities between the four divisions within Redstone plc.
Paul was formerly divisional CEO and operating board member for A4e, an international private sector training company with a turnover of £75m. Here, he successfully led 400 staff over three separate businesses to deliver significant growth, new market entries and product innovation.
Martin Balaam, chief executive officer, Redstone plc said: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to Redstone. He will play a key role in the company’s future development with special emphasis on our strategy to transform Redstone Converged Solutions into a significant player and one of UK’s most successful converged IP solutions providers.”
Commenting on his appointment, Paul Kennedy said: “I am pleased to be taking up this opportunity with Redstone and working with the team. 2006/07 is a pivotal year for Redstone Converged Solutions as we look to consolidate and increase our market position so that we can create a solid platform for exceptional growth during the coming years. The convergence marketplace is an incredibly exciting market to be in and I am keen to develop further how we truly become a critical success factor for all our customers.”
