A new relationship between Servassure and Samsung was sealed at a joint celebration held at Kempton Park Race Course.
A host of Servassure reseller partners attended the event to find out how the new accredited partnership would affect their business for the better.
The day’s proceedings were opened by Samsung’s Peter Law, who talked about the challenges facing the PBX market and how, in a revenue declining industry, resellers now have to sell more systems simply to stand still.
He said: “Resellers need to increase the value of their sales to generate incremental revenue and margins and as IP and Unified communications become a reality, there needs to be a change in sales methodology if they are to enjoy continued success.”
Peter Orr, Servassure’s new sales and marketing director, then took to the floor to talk about the company’s strong stance within the marketplace since takeover by Daisy Group Plc last year.
In recent months, Servassure has secured partnerships with most of the UK’s top vendors, plus key alignments with distribution giants Nimans and MicroP.
Orr said: “We have learned a lot from integrating our company with the Daisy businesses. In the past we tried to be all things to all men, but that has changed now and we are completely focused on delivery.
“We have gone through a difficult time and it is great to see the amount of partners coming back and re-signing to Servassure as well as welcoming new partners on board.”
Wilf Wood, of Samsung, went on to talk about the range of new products and applications available from Samsung which will help the modern worker go about their daily business efficiently and effectively.
And Ian Massingham, Servassure’s channel director for the UK, completed the day’s events by talking about key improvements to the company, including an updated website and channel portal, plus a revised partner pack for resellers detailing products supported, SLAs and escalation procedures.
Formalities were then preceded by an evening’s race event as a deserved thank you to loyal Servassure partners.
