Nimans Continue Ericsson Support

News last week that Ericsson had appointed Rocom as their master distributor for the UK has also resulted in their decision to drop Nimans entirely from their 2-tier strategy. The business was believed to be worth around £2million a year to the Manchester based distributor.

In a statement Nimans’ Chairman Julian Niman has expressed his disappointment at Ericsson’s decision to adopt a single distributor model but has reassured his customers they will still be looked after by Nimans.

“Whilst much has been made in the media about Ericsson’s decision we would like to point out that our contract runs into 2009 and we will be fulfilling business until then. We look after Nimans’ customers and irrespective of how manufacturers behave we won’t let them down,” he said.
