Distributor Nimans is hailing a major new strategic partnership with mobile communications giant O2, which takes its single source communication ethos to a significant new level. Customers can start selling immediately and bill end users in their own name as part of a true wholesale model, based on simple, easy-to-sell tariffs.

Nimans’ 5,000-strong reseller base can gain access to BlackBerry tariffs for example, and take complete ownership and control over their whole comms operations, building greater value into their own businesses.

Nimans’ Head of Networks, Mark Curtis-Wood, greeted the new alliance as the “next logical step” in the distributor’s flourishing converged communication portfolio, which combines a diverse product range with world class logistics, a dedicated leasing division, training academy, third party on-site services and a wholesale network department.

“This is a unique partnership as no other distributor has the breadth of services available from Nimans,” he emphasised. “O2 is showing their commitment and desire to take advantage of a significant new market. We look forward to helping dealers move into the mobile arena with us and build greater value in their businesses by engaging with new customers and increasing revenue. This is a quick win approach which is easy to sell.”

Nimans says resellers will also benefit from up-front bonuses plus strong on-going margins and specialist sales support.

Mark Curtis-Wood added: “This deal strengthens our position as a single source solution supplier, where lots of different products and services can be purchased from one place. This convenience can help cut costs and enhance productivity, making businesses run smoother. We have put together a commercially attractive and simple proposition so that we can help our customers make an instant impact. O2 is synonymous with supreme customer satisfaction. We share the same goals and objectives.”

O2 UK Head of Partners, Maggie Kennedy, said: “Nimans is renowned as a market leader in distribution with a proven trading pedigree stretching over 30 years. They have the expertise in place to provide a perfect platform for O2 to make a positive market impression through the reseller channel. This is a great opportunity.”
