Until now the SV8100 has only been available in a standard 19 inch rack configuration but Nimans has taken delivery of a 9.5 inch version which is ideally suited to SMB and branch office networks due to its compact size yet identical performance.
Nimans says the new innovation is aimed at the smaller business market thanks to a reduced footprint, so it can be discreetly positioned or even wall mounted.
Nimans’ NEC Business Manager, Steve Owens, says the 3 KSU is a half size chassis which has numerous embedded features including Voicemail and mobile extension functionality which provides system features to mobile phone users.
To mark the launch, dealers can take advantage of a bundle offer which features the chassis, processor and eight digital plus two analogue extensions. It has an RRP of £500 representing a saving of £350 if bought separately.
“Clearly there are many sites not suited to a 19 inch rack system so this new 200-trunk/512 extension unit opens more doors and creates additional sales opportunities for dealers,” said Steve. “But despite its compact size it offers the same functionality and high levels of performance as its bigger brother.”
He concluded: “The SV8100 has quickly established itself in the market due to its scalability, modular design and next generation technology. It is easy to sell and install and is a very cost effective unified comms solution. This latest product addition will further enhance its growing appeal.”
