Held at the Oxford Belfry Hotel the exclusive full day partner technical conference was a repeat of similar successful gathering last year – attracting high profile Unify representatives from Germany and Austria, as well as others participating via video link.
The event was the brainchild of Nimans’ Unify Solutions Manager Jed Brewis and it provided engineers, technical managers and technical directors with a compelling and comprehensive overview of the latest plans from both Unify and Nimans. Version 2 of Unify’s acclaimed OpenScape Business comms platform took centre stage with hints, tips and facts all highlighted.
“The main objective was to provide a unique opportunity for our resellers to interface directly with high-level professionals from both Unify and Nimans as part of a compelling community,” said Jed. “We are always over-subscribed as there’s been lots of positive feedback. Everyone recognises the value of becoming a key component of the Nimans and Unify ‘solutions community’ - gaining from a much closer collaboration with key members of our management teams and peers as well as many other exclusive services.”
Training and certification, general business, licensing and product updates were combined with an open forum and a networking dinner.
“The whole room of about 40 guests and some of their external colleagues, logged in to take part in the event via Circuit, Unify’s ground-breaking collaboration solution,” Jed concluded.
“For us it’s all about our resellers knowing what’s happening and when first, so that they can steal a march on the competition and gain a competitive advantage.”
