Distributor Nimans is offering festive cheer to resellers in need of additional engineering support over the Christmas period.
Third party maintenance and installation expertise is growing in popularity for Nimans, as part of a dedicated On-Site Services division that provides resellers with additional white label skills on a nationwide basis.
Nimans’ Group Sales and Business Development Director, Richard Carter, says the forthcoming holiday period is likely to see a major spike in demand, as many workers take time off to enjoy the traditional holiday festivities.
“Christmas can be a tricky conundrum for resellers, with many employees taking holidays, and some clients continuing to trade whilst others shut down for a few weeks. Third party support provides dealers with a flexible solution to address any shortfalls in engineering manpower.”
Nimans says it has recruited a “growing army” of customers since launching a new-look full service proposition last year – helping dealers gain a competitive market advantage by opening the door to potentially bigger nuggets of business – and creating a more level playing field for resellers irrespective of the size of their operations.
Carter highlighted: “The service is particularly attractive for smaller resellers because they tend to have more resource and geographical limitations. Some companies can be restricted in selling because they haven’t always got the manpower to deliver what customers require. They may feel out of their comfort zone going after bigger chunks of business on their own. Using third party services doesn’t have to be spread over the long term. The big benefit to resellers is that they realise they have available resource on tap whenever they require it – especially at Christmas when their own in-house skills may be in short supply.
