Nimans Makes Strong Start with Inclarity Hosted Telephony

Nimans has made a positive start with a new business venture which offers resellers the opportunity to capitalise on hosted telephony for the first time.

The Manchester distributor is enjoying impressive early success in raising interest and awareness after setting up in partnership with leading hosted telephony supplier Inclarity. Nimans’ first webinar outlining the benefits of a hosted service proved a resounding triumph, attracting more than 50 resellers from across the country.

Network Services Director Lee Williams, says hosted telephony is playing an increasingly important role for both Nimans and fellow distributor Rocom.

He explained: “Market research indicates that in 2008 34% of dealers reported competition from a hosted solution but in 2009 this had grown to 79%. We have teamed up with Inclarity to offer resellers a full support and service proposition, to enable them to capitalise on this rapidly growing market. Hosted telephony provides a flexible alternative for businesses that don’t want the initial investment or the on-going maintenance of a new telephone system.”

Lee added: “The response to the webinar was very encouraging. It lasted about an hour and lots of questions were raised afterwards which we were able to answer on the spot. Following on from the webinar there has been lots of reseller interest in how to take things further forward.

“We recognise that some resellers may not be over-familiar with this type of communication service so we are offering them trial handsets which they can use at their own premises to get accustomed to the technology and experience for themselves the high call quality. This is proving particularly popular.”
