Resellers can take advantage of Two-Way Radio demo kits as Nimans gets a positive response to bringing back a famous manufacturing name from the past.

Nimans has reintroduced the well-known Storno brand as part of an expanding Two-Way radio portfolio – based on the passion and industry knowledge of Chairman Julian Niman. In a bid to help resellers capture a bigger slice of the £80m UK licensed market resellers can now access special demo kits to impress new customers.

In a further boost Nimans has produced on-site testing guides in addition to the free demonstration kits resellers can trial for several weeks.

Storno licensed radios are viewed as the perfect introduction for resellers new to the sector as they combine market leading performance with supreme reliability. Fitted with the latest lithium ion battery technology they benefit from easy out of the box performance, says Nimans’ Radio Communications Category Manager, Gary Redshaw.

“We’ve had a very positive response to bringing back the Storno name and the demo kits will help pour more fuel onto the fire.

“We supply licenced and licence free equipment with both Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) and Private Mobile Radio (PMR) devices available. We work with major brands such as Hytera, Icom and Motorola as well as Storno. In the UK the licensed radio market alone is worth £80m so there are plenty of lucrative opportunities out there.”

He added: “Two-way radio has always been an important element of our business based on Julian Nimans’ passion and keen interest in this sector. We’ve sold devices from day one and are now able to offer resellers access to more powerful licenced equipment that can communicate over much longer distances. They are proving very popular.”
