Nimans was the first distributor in the country to showcase the NCP Network Communication Platform, as around 50 resellers converged at a Manchester hotel to experience a live demo of the innovative system which is available in two versions - four to sixty or forty to one hundred users.
The audience included Jeff Williams, Director of Liverpool-based dealer Green Spot Com who is predicting strong demand for the new IP-based technology. “This is certainly a major step forward for Panasonic and I'm sure that the NCP will quickly establish itself in the channel. I am excited by its great potential,” said Jeff.
“To be honest it's something we have all been waiting for. As a sole Panasonic dealer I am now fully armed to do the job. This will open up a whole new market for us and I am really looking forward to offering this to many of my customers in the small to medium sized business sector.

When Panasonic launch a product they make sure everything is right beforehand so I'm sure that NCP will be a big success.”
Dealers also learned about Panasonic's Communication Assistant productivity software suite which works with the NCP system via traditional PC's, providing a host of powerful on-screen applications to enhance real-time business communications such as point and click telephony and presence capabilities, pinpointing who is in, out or unavailable to contact within a company.
