The move is an initiative between James Palmer, Managing Director of Nine Telecom and Tony Lewis, Founder of Club Communications. The initiative followed the successful launch by Nine Telecom into the wholesale market, some two years ago. However, Nine Telecom identified that if it was to continue with its expansion it needed to pull on the resources and expertise of a market leader in wholesale support systems. So discussion ensued with Club Communications.
Whilst Nine Telecom exceeded its sales targets, it identified the need for further investment in systems to support further growth. By joining forces with Club Communications with its billing platform and direct debit services, both companies are able to maximise their skills. Bringing together these skills – Nine Telecom’s sales and marketing expertise and Club Communications’ technology - gives the group significant advantage over other providers.

The combination of the two companies creates significant buying power when investing in new products and services for both companies. This buying power will then be passed onto the Dealers and Resellers of Nine Telecom Group, ensuring increased business opportunities for all parties.

The Dealer channel will be operated from Nine Telecom’s offices in Kent.
The Reseller channel will be operated from Club Communications’ offices in Gloucestershire.
This strategic decision enables the continuing growth of both the companies and importantly, expands the opportunities to market for both the Dealer and Reseller channels. It also means that Club Communications can now offer Nine Telecom’s recently launched Business Mobile to their Resellers.
