During 2010, Nine Telecom Group, stepped up its involvement with the burgeoning motor racing career of hugely talented Suffolk teenager Josh Webster. Following on from a glittering karting career in Britain and Europe, the 16-year-old Stowmarket sportsman made his breakthrough into single-seater car racing this year and capped his debut season off perfectly with title glory in the recent Formula Renault BARC Winter Championship.

The partnership has proven to be a perfect fit for both sponsor and driver and the success they’ve shared throughout 2010 has been exceptional. In pursuit of his dream to drive in Formula 1, Webster has received crucial support from Nine Telecom, and particularly their CEO, James Palmer, who commented, “Nine is delighted to see Josh winning the Winter Series Championship at his first time of trying and we're very pleased to have been able to help facilitate this. Our philosophy has always been to invest in "Best of Breed" and I think it's safe to say our investment in Josh has continued that tradition.”

Webster is clearly grateful for the contribution of his sponsor, “Nine Telecom is a major part of my success so far in motorsport, I simply couldn’t have attained the results I have and gained the experience I have without their incredible support”, said Webster, “I’m eternally grateful to James Palmer and his desire to begin supporting me is the reason I have been able to graduate to cars.”

Inviting customers to Webster’s racing events has proved a great success for Edenbridge based Nine Telecom Group. A recent guest delivered exceptional praise; “Thank you for a fantastic day of true hospitality...I’ve been to F1, touring cars, GT racing and the Indy 500 with full hospitality and none of these compared to yesterday...”
